Our hardware
Your teamspeakservers are only as good as our servers are.
This is why we keep our servers up to date. Because of our limited financial resources and the fast changing technic this is not always successful.
Our system administrators take care for a smoothly flow and in case of emergency they are prepared for a fieldwork. Thereby they are falling back on years of experience.
Components in our servers
- CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core
- RAM: 6 GB DDR2
- HDD: 2 x 750 GB SATA II
- Network: 1 GBit OnBoard
- Operating system: Debian Etch
- daily backups
Four of our servers got these components. We trust our hoster, Hetzner Online AG which showed us a maximum of support.
Mainly these servers are used for gameservers but in parts also for webspace.
Beside these four servers we own two other and older servers. The two older servers are used for teamspeakserver, mumbleserver and in parts for webspace.
Webserver, database and the E-Mail server have been optimized to ensure a smootly and fast flow. Spam is also filtered by us.
If there is a failure of a system our system administrators will be informed via SMS. With their cellphones they are able to check whether there is a failure or not.
The connection of our servers to the worldwide data network is upgraded continuously. Also it ensures low latency and good pings.
